Custom 3D Prints

If you've got a 3D file, an idea, or a broken part that needs replacing — we can print it.

Mighty Imperial Forge offers custom 3D printing for hobbyists, makers, cosplayers, engineers, and anyone who needs something brought to life in plastic, resin, or more. Whether it's a one-off piece, a batch run, or a complex multi-material print, we're set up to handle it.

Professional Equipment, Serious Capability

We run a proper workshop with a growing fleet of high-end 3D printers:

  • Prusa XL - Fast, precise FDM printing with multi-colour and multi-material capability
  • Creality Cr-30 - infinite Y axis Belt printing
  • Phrrozen Mega 8K V2 - Large format High-resolution resin printer for fine detail and miniatures

Multi-Colour & Multi-Material Printing

Thanks to the Prusa XL's 5 toolheads, we can print in up to 5 colours or materials in a single print — no post-painting required (unless you want it).

This opens up options like:

  • Colour-coded parts and logos
  • Pre-separated paint schemes (great for display pieces)
  • Functional multi-material prints (e.g., rigid + flexible in one part)
  • Clean colour transitions and inlays
Perfect for:
  • Branded items, team colours, or custom gifts
  • Models with embedded detail or lettering
  • Mechanical parts requiring soft-touch grips
  • Display pieces that look great straight off the printer

Large & Batch Printing Capability

With multiple printers running simultaneously, we're equipped to handle larger batch runs and repeat orders efficiently. If you need dozens (or more) of the same item — whether functional parts, terrain, miniatures, or promotional items — we can scale to meet your needs with consistent quality.

What We Can Print

We work with a wide range of project types, including:

  • Miniatures and figurines
  • Tabletop terrain and game accessories
  • Cosplay parts and props
  • Replacement parts and functional prototypes
  • Mounts, brackets, and custom fittings
  • Art pieces and display models
  • Personalised gifts and keepsakes

If you're not sure whether your project is printable — just ask.

Print Quality & Preparation

All prints are dialled in for optimal quality based on the material and intended use.

  • Careful slicing and orientation for best surface finish or strength
  • Proper supports and post-processing where needed
  • Resin prints cured and cleaned to a ready-to-paint or finished state
  • FDM prints with smooth surfaces, strong layer adhesion, and dimensional accuracy

We aim for clean, usable parts every time — not rushed or rough output.

File Check & Print Readiness

Got a file but not sure if it's ready to print? We'll check it over and let you know. Minor repairs or adjustments can often be made in-house. If the file needs more extensive modification, we'll work with you to find a solution.

We accept STL, OBJ, 3MF, and STEP files.

Getting Started

To request a quote, send through:

  • Your file(s) or a link to download
  • Material preference (if known)
  • Size, quantity, and any special requirements

We'll come back to you with options, pricing, and turnaround.

Pricing is based on material, print time, and complexity. We're always upfront about what's achievable and what it'll cost.

If it can be printed — we can print it.

3D Scanning Service

Got a physical object you wish existed as a 3D file? We offer friendly, professional 3D scanning services to help hobbyists, makers, and businesses bring real-world items into the digital world — from miniatures and parts right through to full human scans.

Whether you're preserving something important, reproducing a part, or turning yourself into a miniature, we can capture it as a detailed 3D model ready for printing or digital use.

Scan Yourself (Yes — People Too)

One of the most exciting parts of our setup is full human scanning.

Using advanced structured-light scanning, we can capture highly detailed 3D models of people — perfect for:

  • Custom tabletop miniatures of yourself or your character
  • Busts and display pieces
  • Gifts and keepsakes
  • Cosplay preservation

Want yourself as a D&D hero? A warlord for your army? A gift for someone? We can scan you and turn it into a printable 3D model ready for display or gaming.

(Yes — this is as cool as it sounds.)

Professional Equipment, Workshop Mindset

Scanning is carried out using high-end Einscan structured-light scanners capable of capturing fine detail, accurate geometry, and full colour where required.

With a background in toolmaking and CAD, every scan is handled with a practical mindset — focusing on producing clean, usable files rather than just raw data. The goal is always a result you can actually print, modify, or keep.

We're continuously refining our scanning workflow and techniques to get the best possible results from each project.

What We Can Scan

We can work with a wide range of items, including:

  • People (full body or busts)
  • Tabletop miniatures & figurines
  • Terrain & gaming pieces
  • Props & collectibles
  • Mechanical parts & components
  • Vehicles
  • Hand-sculpted models
  • Custom or one-off items
  • Sentimental objects for preservation

If you're unsure whether something can be scanned, just send through a few photos.

What You Receive

Depending on your needs, we can provide:

  • Cleaned and aligned 3D scan files
  • Watertight meshes ready for 3D printing
  • Printable busts or miniature-ready files (for people scans)
  • Basic mesh repair and cleanup
  • STL, OBJ, and other common formats

We can also handle the printing side if you'd like the finished physical piece.

Perfect For

  • Custom miniatures of yourself or friends
  • Unique gifts
  • Reproducing rare or broken parts
  • Digitising sculpts or artwork
  • Archiving important objects
  • Hobby and tabletop projects
  • Cosplay & prop preservation
  • Scale replica's of vehicles

If you've ever said "I wish I could copy this" — or "I wish I could make a mini of that" — this is how.

Getting Started

Every scan job is different, so pricing is quoted based on size, complexity, and cleanup required.

To get started, send us:

  • A few photos (or let us know if it's a person scan)
  • Approximate size or number of people
  • What you'd like to do with the final result

We'll come back to you with options, pricing, and what's achievable.

Some surfaces and materials scan better than others, but we'll always be upfront about what's possible and work with you to get the best result we can.
